Top sports podcasts: Fox Sports scores

ESPN is the sports leader on TV, but that crown may belong to Fox Sports when it comes to podcasts.

Three separate Fox Sports podcasts rank among the top 10 Sports and Recreation podcasts, according to iTunes, compared to just one in the top 10 for ESPN.

Fox Sports’ “Make Me Smarter Football” podcasts ranks No. 4 overall. It features host Nick Wright and longtime NFL executive Michael Lombardi as they discuss the latest news and happenings from the NFL.

Meanwhile, Fox’s “The Herd with Colin Cowherd” ranks No. 6 overall, while “Skip and Shannon: Undisputed” is No. 8. As the title indicates, “The Herd” features opinionated sports commentator Colin Cowherd, while “Undisputed” features Skip Bayless, Shannon Sharpe and Joy Taylor.

‘Pardon My Take’ tops sports podcasts

No. 1 among Sports and Recreation podcasts is “Pardon My Take” from Barstool Sports. The show features co-hosts Big Cat and PFT Commenter talking sports, as well as other sports-related stories. For example, on the latest episode the two discuss Oakland Raiders punter Marquette King possibly dating Kim Kardashian.

No. 2 for the week is “The Ringer,” from former ESPN personality Bill Simmons. ESPN’s “PTI” is at No. 3, followed by Fox Sports’ “Make Me Smarter Football” and “DiveFilm HD Video.”
