CBS takes Friday night among viewers 18-49

CBS had the top two shows of en route for a first-place finish on Friday night.
The network’s dramas “Hawaii Five-0” and “Blue Bloods” each posted a 1.2 rating among viewers 18-49, according to Nielsen overnights, tied for tops for the night in the demo.
For the night CBS averaged a 1.1 rating and 5 share. That edged out NBC, which finished second at 1.1/5.
“Dateline” paced NBC, posting a 1.1 among 18-49s. That was tied for No. 3 for the night with ABC’s “Last Man Standing.”
Speaking of ABC, the network was third for the night among 18-49s at 0.9/4. Fox was fourth at 0.8/3 and CW fifth at 0.3/1.
Three other programs on Friday hit the 1.0 threshold among 18-49s. CBS’s “MacGyver,” ABC’s “Shark Tank” and Fox’s “Hell’s Kitchen” all came in right at a 1.0.
CBS also wins in households
Meanwhile, CBS easily won the night among households with a 5.7 average overnight rating and an 11 share. NBC and ABC tied for second at 3.1/6. Fox was fourth at 1.5/3 and CW fifth at 0.5/1.
“Blue Bloods” was the most-watched show of the night, averaging 10.08 million total viewers. It was the only program on broadcast on Friday to average at least 10 million viewers.
